When you are growing up with eight siblings, as I did, you start to work on your social skills from the very beginning. Now I benefit in my profession from my well trained abilities to listen, to understand the angles of all parties and to negotiate between parties while being strong on my opinion. As a child of a large family I learned to be tolerant, understanding and empathetic for people and their specific situation.
